OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce how to investigate safety-related problems in Caucasia and the Middle East gradually rising after Cold War and make a deduction.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include past and present term of the Middle East states, present day and historical developments in Caucasia, roles of them in the world policy, relations with Turkey.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain fundamental characteristics and dynamics of safety mentality of the Middle Asia and Caucasians
Discuss relations between Middle Asia and Caucasian states and historical development of regional organizations
Analyze current political developments in the Middle East and Caucasia
Relate between regional safety problems in Asia and global safety problems
