OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı öğrencilerin sanat felsefesi kuramlarına hakim olması, klasik ve çağdaş sanat düşüncelerini eleştirel bir bakışla ele alabilecek kabiliyete erişmesidir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriği; sanat felsefesinin temel kavramları, Platon, Aristoteles, Plotinos, Hume, Kant, Schelling, Hegel, Nietzsche, Croce, Heidegger, Berger, Bourdiou, Derrida gibi düşünürlerin sanat anlayışlarını incelemek; Ortaçağ, Modernizm ve Çağdaş düşüncede sanat fikrini irdelemek, iğrenç sanat, video sanatı ve yeni medya anlayışı üzerine eğilmek noktasında şekillenmektedir. Aynı zamanda görsel malzemeler de kullanılmaktadır.

Sanat ve “güzel” kavramına ilişkin çeşitli felsefi yaklaşımları bilir.
Sanat Felsefesi’nin, felsefenin diğer alt dallarıyla olan bağıntısı kurar.
Yaratıcı, bilişsel, duygulanımsal ve sosyal bir süreç olarak sanat olgusunu çözümler.
Sanat ve sanat yapıtları üzerine geliştirilen felsefi kuramları ayırt eder ve değerlendirir.
Estetik yargıları ve estetik değerleri, farklı estetik kuramları üzerinden karşılaştırır.
