OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to give information about Turkish history and culture
Contents of the Course Unit: This Course includes : Turkish civilizations, Turkish states and culture, the culture and arts, belief systems in the states.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the concepts of culture and civilization.
Make the classification of prehistoric Turkish culture.
Explain how the main elements such as geographic environment, human and society shape culture.
Interpret the organization, economic life, thought and morality, culture and art and their current extensions or changes in pre-Islamic Turkish states.
