OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu ders, medya ve kültür ilişkisini kültürün tarihsel süreci ve medya türleri kapsamında öğrenciye aktarmayı hedeflemektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriğini medya ve kültüre ait temel kavramlar, kültürün tarihsel süreçteki gelişimi, medya türleri ve kültür ilişkisine ait kavramlar oluşturmaktadır.

Uluslararası iletişim ile ilgili temel kavramları tanır ve bu kavramlar hakkında en az 3 örnek verebilir.
Uluslararası iletişimi 21. yüzyılın en önemli medya mecralarından olan yeni medya ile ilişkilendirerek mevcut sistem hakkında yorum yapabilir.
Özelleştirme ve serbestleştirme politikalarını medya şirketleri ekseninde inceleyebilir.
Uluslararası iletişim şirketlerini kültür emperyalizmi üzerinden değerlendirebilir.
