OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help students understand the historical, social, cultural and political parameters affected the formation period of the Turkish novel in the Republican period, works within the scope of postmodern novel theory and the pioneers of the postmodern novel, Novels of March 12 and September 12, Feminist discourse and female authors, concept of historical novel, Turkish literature after 1950, individual tendencies in Turkish novel after 1950.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the historical, social, cultural and political parameters affected the formation period of the Turkish novel in the Republican period, works within the scope of postmodern novel theory and the pioneers of the postmodern novel, Novels of March 12 and September 12, Feminist discourse and female authors, concept of historical novel, Turkish literature after 1950, individual tendencies in Turkish novel after 1950.
