OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Understanding the functions of human resources management: human resources planning; job analysis and definitions; staff recruitment, selection and placement and training&development processes, career planning, performance evaluation, compensation management and also the importance of communication, motivation and leadership development and new developments in human resources management.
Contents of the Course Unit: The lecture covers the emergence of human resources management, issues related to human resources management such as job analysis, human resources planning, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, job analysis and compensation management.

Gains the ability to grasp the functions of departments and their strategic importance within the organization in the field of Human Resources Management Gains detailed information about the nature of the human resources management processes, its basic concepts, functions, main problems, and contemporary approaches in the field. Gains the ability to conduct case studies related with human resources management, collect data, analyze and interpret results.
