OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Öğrencilere psikoloji biliminin ve uygulama alanının temel kavramları ve yaklaşımları hakkında yetkinlik ve yeterlilik sağlayarak bunların aralarındaki muhtemel ilişkiler ve psikolojik olguları açıklama tarzlarına dair farkındalık kazandırmak suretiyle öğrenimlerinin önümüzdeki yıllarında alacakları dersler için bir temel oluşturmak amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu ders, psikolojinin tanımı, çalışma alanları ve alt dalları, psikolojide araştırma ve uygulama yöntemleri, psikolojinin nörobiyolojik temelleri ve beynin yapısı, gelişimsel psikoloji, psikolojide kuramlar, öğrenme, hatırlama ve düşünme, duyum ve algı konu başlıklarını içermektedir.
