OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge including social responsibility and ethical values required today.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include concept of ethics and its problem, communication fields such as journalism, public relations and advertising.

Describe the ethical responsibility behaviour in the field of communication conceptually.
Distinguish concepts of ethics and professional ethics.
Relate ethics with today's events based on opinions of ethics related theoreticians.
Interpret the concept of ethics by discussing and examples from the press.
