OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with knowledge and skills of designing a pattern website by using basic techniques of web programming.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include, Web 2.0, General Concepts and Terminology, internet, Web and concepts of design, browsers, domain name, hosting, ftp, update, Web Standards, planning of Website designs, properties for HTML language: most frequently used HTML tags, titles, marquee, text formatting, giving a link and meta tags, picture attaching, sheet and sheet structures.

Describe general concepts and terminology.
Explain concepts of internet, web and design.
