OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to enable students to evaluate the concept of gender in the macro, micro and mezzo level, learn them and perceive the importance of gender in the social service.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include subjects as in gender, gender identity, gender roles, social perspective on the gender, feminism, feminist movements.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain gender in their presentations by learning it in every respect
Categorize the viewpoints of society against gender by interpreting differences between gender identity and gender roles
Analyze the social work practice by learning about feminism and feminist movements
Produce projects about gender by interpreting mezzo dimensions of gender
