OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to explain how individuals are affected by crisis situation as in natural disasters, child abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosocial response.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include subjects as in post-traumatic stress response, disaster psychology, gender and abuse, post-traumatic growing.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain negative impacts of trauma on the individuals after learning about its nature
Categorize post-traumatic stress responses by interpreting the stress concept.
Determine psychological levels of various crisis situations after preparing schema for it.
Write the rules in their profession for various crisis situations by roles and responsibilities of a social service specialist
