OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to inform the students about juvenile delinquency and to gain knowledge about interventions related to juvenile delinquency.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as the scope of juvenile delinquency, the relationship between child and crime, juvenile pushed to crime, crimes against the child in Turkey, social service intervention on juvenile delinquency.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain what situations are covered by juvenile delinquency after learning the definition and scope of juvenile delinquency
Categorize crimes against children after understanding the nature of the relationship between child and crime
Plan a professional intervention for juvenile pushed to crime as a social service specialist after understanding the importance of social service in juvenile delinquency
Formulate the basis of their intervention as a social service specialist after learning the crimes against the child and the legal procedure in Turkey
