OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin amacı; bireyin kalıtsal yapısının beslenme alışkanlıklarının belirlenmesindeki etkisinin açıklanması, genetik olarak yatkınlık taşıdığı hastalıklardan olabildiğince uzak kalması ve yüksek yaşam kalitesinin sağlanması için beslenmenin önemini ve etkisini değerlendirmektir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriği; besin öğeleri, gen ekspresyonları, beslenme ve genetik ilişkisi, diyet ve hastalıklardır.

Genetik faktörlerin beslenme ile ilişkisini yorumlayabilecektir.
Genetik ve diyet ilişkisini açıklar.

Besin alerjisi, kolesterol düzeyi, kan şekeri gibi kişilere bağlı farklılık gösteren parametrelerin genetik alt yapısını açıklar.
Hastalıklara bağlı gen ekspresyonunu çözümleyecek yolları tartışır.
