OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to teach the technical, economical, financial study and project evaluation methods related to the feasibility studies of investment projects.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as investment project, technical, economical (demand forecasting, capacity, choosing site of establishment, marketing research), financial (amount of investment and determination of resources) study, financial and economic valuation methods for investment projects.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain project evaluation methods.
Describe the feasibility report related to the investment projects.
Evaluate the investment decisions of the management by way of financial project valuation methods.
Interpret the technical and economic studies of the investment.
Evaluate the risky investment projects.
