OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to educate designer-artist candidates who can use the digital media tools and programs correctly and functionally, and can provide design solutions with aesthetic and social awareness in order to meet the requirements in graphic design interactive fields with the help of rapidly changing and developing multimedia technologies.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include subjects such as motion graphics, animated graphics (infographic), kiosk designs, generic animations, TV spots, music video clips, web intros, advertising films, experimental videos, computer game designs.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Compare multimedia technologies by describing the concepts of multimedia.
Apply suitably for the needs of the industry by using multimedia technologies.
Create unique content specific to the new media by identifying what kind of applications the different media contents allow.
Evaluate the ratio of multimedia applications for media organizations meeting target audience expectations.
