Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin amacı, öğrencilere sayfa tasarımı ile ilgili temel kavramları, ilkeleri ve bilgileri kazandırmaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriğini Sayfa tasarımı, QuarkXPress ile InDesign programlarının kullanım esasları, bilgisayar ortamında uygulamalar oluşturmaktadır.

Sayfa tasarımı ile ilgili temel kavramları tanımlayarak, masaüstü yayıncılığa ait tekniklerin ayırt eder.
QuarkXPress ve InDesign programlarını kullanarak, sektörel örneklerine uygun şekilde çeşitli tasarımlar uygular.
Güncel masaüstü yayıncılık örneklerini inceleyerek, eksik yönlerinin giderilmesine yönelik tavsiyelerde bulunabilecek ve kendi medya içeriğini üretir.
