OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to enable students to read engineering drawings in aircraft workshops and to recognize aircraft parts.
Contents of the Course Unit: A brief review of manufacturing methods, Classification of unconventional processing methods according to the type of energy used in processing and review of the processing principles, tools, processing parameters, processing capabilities and applications of these methods, Mechanical energy: Ultrasonic processing, Ultrasonic processing, abrasive jet treatment, water jet processing, Electrochemical treatment, Electrochemical processing, Electrochemical drilling, Electrochemical honing, Thermal energy: Electro-erosion processing, wire electro-machining, laser processing, plasma processing.
