Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to introduce the basic concepts of adolescence and old age psychology to the students and to develop an understanding of the psychology of adolescence and old age by examining the physical, cognitive and socio-dynamic developments in adolescence and old age.
Content: Contents of the course include the subjects such as basic characteristics of adolescence period, physical, cognitive, personality and moral development of adolescence, peer and family relationships, academic development, adolescence period problems, the basic characteristics of the old age period, physical, cognitive and socio-dynamic development of the old age.
