OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce basic concepts in mathematics and states importance of mathematics and analytic thinking.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include mathematical modelling, number systems and basic concepts, functions, single variable function- linear models, derivatives, derivatives of non-linear functions, applications in derivatives and maximum and minimum, drawing graphs of function, tangent line approach and differentials, economical applications in derivatives, multi-variable functions, local extremums, economical applications in multi-variable functions, introduction to probability, hypotheses probability and Bayes formula.

Apply mathematical models of economic problems.
Compare economic applications by using integral counting
Analyze probability counting.
Apply limit, derivatives, field and volume measurement.
