Aim of the Program

International Trade and Logistics is a combination of two different disciplines. With the increase in the volume of international trade, the development of logistics services, and the globalization of trade, the need for qualified human resources in the field of international trade and logistics has also increased. In this direction, the aim of the program is to gain knowledge and skills in logistics, customs management, micro and macro economics, international trade, marketing principles, warehousing and inventory, export and import policies, air, sea, land and railway transportation, giving priority to the needs of the country. 
 
 

Target of the Program

The aim of the program is to train international trade and logistics specialists who have the ability to realize harmony and balance by prioritizing the needs of the country, bringing together international differences, who will follow universal developments in their field and contribute to the national economy, who have a strong academic foundation, who speak a foreign language, who have a good command of import and export procedures and transportation management.

The most important advantage of the program is that its graduates have the opportunity to work in all public and private sector organizations, especially foreign trade companies, with the ever-increasing logistics activities. Graduates have the opportunity to work in ministries, customs consultancies, import-export companies, international logistics companies with titles such as operations specialist, sales specialist, marketing specialist, finance specialist, executive assistant, middle and senior managers in Turkey and abroad.

International Trade and Logistics (with/without Thesis) Master's Program accepts students with horizontal transfer within the quota in accordance with the "Istanbul Gelisim University Application Principles of Student Admission to Undergraduate Programs through Horizontal Transfer".
