General Information

Aim of the Program

The aim of the Department of Aviation Administration is, in accordance with the developments in aviation sector, is educating and training students to become very well qualified staff equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge and extensive qualifications so that they can serve in the most effective way for the sector. Besides, along with the very well qualified staff who are equipped with extensive theoretical and practical knowlegde and skills, this department aims to educate and train managers and educators who can contribute to advanced scientific studies and research in aviation sector.

Target of the Program

The goal of the Aviation Management Department is to educate candidates of managers with knowledge and skills that can meet both current and future needs of businesses operating in the sector. Students will have a wealth of academic knowledge that will enable their professional capacities to become stronger with the degree of Aviation Management and will help them take a role in leading positions in aviation at different disciplines.

Career Opportunities

The graduates of this department have a significant advantage that this sector is growing rapidly and need to well-qualified staff is also increasing gradually, and in future, the need to qualified staff in this sector will apparently continue to increase.

Working Places

Graduates of this department have the opportunites to be employed in various sectors at international level, at departments of state and private institutions and foundations of aviation sector such as cargo services, flight operations, ground services of airports and designing airport services.

Programmes allowing Horizontal Transfer

Our university accepts the students for the associate degree / bachelor degree on space available basis and in accordance with the ‘‘Regulation Regarding Transfer, Double Major and Minor among Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs in Higher Education institutions and Credit Transfer Among the institutions’’

Programmes allowing Vertical Transfer

Vocational school graduates may continue to four-years undergraduate education in case of meeting the conditions indicated in the relevant regulation.
