OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to provide the students with an idea about the reasons and results of unethical behaviours and recognize the ethical codes of the profession. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include concepts of ethics, morality, professional ethics, particularly communication and media ethics. Ethical principles and ethical problems encountered in the professions of journalism, television, public relations, advertising, graphical design will be discussed. International and national ethics committees as well as rules in force and examples from applications will be given. Finally, readings and discussions on critical research published on the subject will be made. |
