OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Podolojinin temel ilkeleri, tıbbi teşhisler ve tedavi planı, tıbbi talimatların gerçekleştirilmesi ve hekimlerle iş birliği, ayak bakımında kullanılacak aletlerin kullanılması ve temizliğini öğretmektir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Anamnez, podolojik teşhisin araştırılması, tedavinin amacı ve dokümantasyon, podolojik endüksiyonlar ve tedavinin sınırları, tıbbi tedavi gerektiren hastalıkların patolojik değişimleri ya da semptomları, ayakta oluşan hasarlar ve farklılaşmalar için risk durumları, diyabetik ayak sendromunun etkileri, podolojik tedavinin planlanması, tırnağın şekil ve yapı değişikliklerine uygun pedikür teknikleri ve uygulaması, tırnak etlerinin yumuşatılması ve alınması uygulamaları, ayak masaj teknikleri ve önemi, ayak masaj tekniklerinin uygulaması, nasırların temizlenmesi, nasır oluşumunda önleyici tedbirler, ayak bakımında kişisel hijyen kurallarının uygulaması, ayak bakımında ortam hijyeni..

Ara eleman olarak görev yapacağı sağlık bilimleri alanındaki temel bilgilerle donanmış olur ve bu bilgileri uygulamada yetkinlik kazanır.
İlgili olduğu sağlık alanı ile ilgili olarak bilgi ve teknolojiye erişim yolları ve araçlarını kullanmada yetkinlik kazanır.
Bilgi verici ve etkili bir yolla hastalarla iletişim kurup yapılması gereken işlemleri yapabilir.
İlgili sorunları bilimsel veriler/kanıtlar doğrultusunda tespit edip çözüm üretir.
