OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Öğrencilerin hukuk kavramıyla tanışması sağlandıktan sonra gerek özel hukuk gerek kamu hukukuna dair temel hukuk terimlerini tanıması amaçlanır. Ayrıca Türk yargı sistemi ve muhtemel uyuşmazlıklarda açılacak dava türleri uygulamalı olarak verilir. Bireyler arasındaki bir özel hukuk ilişkisinin analinizinin öğrenciler tarafından yapılması, hukuki problemlerin çözümünde analitik düşünce gücünün geliştirilmesi amaçlanır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Hukuk kavramı irdelendikten sonra hukukun kaynakları ve Türk yargı sistemi ele alınacak. İdare hukuku, kişiler hukuku, miras hukuku, eşya hukuku ve borçlar hukuku konularına dair temel bilgilendirme yapılacaktır.

Ders kapsamında aktarılan bilgiler doğrultusunda temel hukuki kavramları anlama yeterliliği kazanmak
Öğrenciler verilen ödevler sayesinde akademik araştırma yapmak ve araştırmalarını hukuki dilde kâğıda dökme yeterliliği kazanmak
Hukuk kavramına tanım verebilmek suretiyle mevcut bir hukuki problemi analiz edebilmek, bu problemin çözümü için temel düzeyde değerlendirmeler yapabilmek
Kamu hukukundan ve özel hukuktan doğan haklarını tanıyabilmek, bunları korumak için başvurması gereken süreçleri bilmek, gerek yerel mahkemelerin gerekse AİHM gibi uluslarüstü mahkemelerin işleyiş süreçlerinden haberdar olmak.
Uygulamada en çok karşılaşılan sözleşme türlerini tanımak ve bu sözleşmelerin taraflara yüklediği borçları tanımlayabilmek
