OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Geriatrik bireylerde yaşa bağlı işitmenin değerlendirilmesi, normal yaşlanma veya yaşlanma sürecine bağlı değişik patolojilerin eşlik ettiği konuşma, işitme, dil ve bilişsel problemler, değerlendirme ve tedavi stratejilerine yönelik bilgi ve tutumların kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Geriatri temel kavram ve tanımlar, yaşlanma ile ilgili teoriler, presbiakuzi,geriatrik popülasyonda işitsel işlemleme, işitme cihazı uygulama prensipleri, tinnitus ve etiyolojisi,preabiakuzi için rehabilitatif/ iyileştirici programlar ve geriatrik iletişim bozuklukları için sosyal destek sistemleri.
