OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Toplumsal sorunlar ile ilgili kuramsal ve kavramsal düşünebilme ve ifade etme, ve güncel sorunları eleştirel bir şekilde ifade etme ve tartışmaya ilişkin bilgilerin ve tutumların kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Sosyolojik tahayyül, sosyolojik araştırma, sosyolojik kuramlar ve yöntemler, küreselleşme, sosyal değişim.

Bilgi ve bilimin temel ilkelerini kavrar, sosyolojinin perspektifini ve benzeri bilimlerle ilişkilerini açıklar.

Modern ve geleneksel sosyolojik kuramların özelliklerini karşılaştırır.
Bireyler, gruplar ve toplum içindeki karşılıklı ilişkileri açıklar.
Toplum dediğimiz gerçekliğin ve onu oluşturan kurumların tek tek ve karşılıklı ilişki içinde işleyişini düzenler.
