OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı, öğrencilere hukukun temel kavram ve kurumlarını tanıtmak, hem güncel yaşamda hem de almakta oldukları eğitimin çeşitli yerlerinde karşılaştıkları kavramların içeriği hakkında bilgi edinmelerini sağlamaktır. Diğer yandan bundan sonraki dönemlerde alacakları hukuk derslerinin de bir anlamda alt yapısını hazırlamak amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriği, hukuk kurallarının özellikleri ve hukukun bilgi kaynakları, hukuk kurallarının ayırımı, çağdaş hukuk sistemleri, yaptırım ve çeşitleri, kamu hukuku, özel hukuk, karma hukuk dalları ve alt ayrımları, hukukun çeşitli açılardan uygulanması, hak, hak sahipliği ve ehliyet kavramları, sorumluluk ve sorumluluğun işletilmesi, yargı örgütü ve fonksiyonu gibi hukuka ilişkin temel altyapıyı sağlayacak konulardan oluşmaktadır.

Hukukun konu, yöntem ve yazılı-yazısız kaynaklar ile yardımcı kaynaklarının ne olduğunu tanımlar.
Hukuki olay, hukuki fiil, hukuki işlem kavramlarını ve kavramlar arasındaki farkları belirtir.
Yasama, yürütme ve yargı erklerinin yetkileri ile özel hukuk ve kamu hukuku arasında ayrımları sıralar.
Anayasa, ceza, idare, medeni, borçlar, icra-iflas hukuku gibi özel ve kamu hukukun alt dallarına ilişkin sınıflandırma yapar.
