OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu ders öğrencilerin iktisat biliminin dayandığı temel ilkeleri kullanarak tüketicilerin, üreticilerin ve devletin karar mekanizmalarını yorumlayabilmelerini amaçlamaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin İçeriği; ihtiyaç, istek, fayda, değer, fiyat, kıtlık, rasyonellik, fırsat maliyeti gibi iktisadın temelini oluşturan kavramlar, arz ve talep kanunu, piyasa dengesi, esneklikler, hükümetlerin fiyat kontrolleri ve bu kontrollerin piyasa dengesi üzerine etkileri, kardinal ve ordinal yaklaşımlar çerçevesinde tüketici davranışı teorisi, üretim teorisi, üretim maliyetleri, farklı piyasaların işleyişleri, faktör piyasaları ve gelir dağılımı kavramından oluşmaktadır.

Toplam fayda, marjinal fayda ve bütçe kısıtı kavramlarını kullanarak tüketici davranışlarını yorumlar.
Toplam maliyet, marjinal maliyet ve bütçe kısıtı kavramlarını kullanarak üretici davranışlarını yorumlar.
Üretim maliyetlerini kullanarak farklı piyasalarda denge oluşumunu yorumlar.
