OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
| Objectives of the Course Unit: |
To ensure that students learn the basic concepts of hazardous material transportation, international and national regulations, hazardous material classes, packaging and transportation principles, loading and unloading processes, responsibilities of the parties and the documents used. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: |
It covers definitions and basic concepts in the transportation of hazardous materials, international regulations such as ADR-RID-IMDG, hazardous material classes, packaging rules, transportation vehicles, loading and unloading processes, types of transportation, transportation of hazardous waste, responsibilities of the parties, documents and national regulations in Türkiye. |
