OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to teach students the concept of road transportation, its historical development and processes and to ensure that these processes can be managed correctly.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as importance and components of road transportation, road networks and its frequency, frequency of use, problems encountered in road transportation of goods and the effects of bilateral relations with countries on road transportation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Remember the basic information about the international road transportation sector.
Compare the other types of transportation with road transportation.
Define the basic documents such as TIR carnet, ATA carnet, CMR and customs declaration.
With the knowledge about sustainable transportation, compare it with road transportation.
