OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide students with the theoretical knowledge about photography and camera and to gain basic competence in camera use and photography skills.
Contents of the Course Unit: In this course, topics such as the history of photography, types of photography, aesthetic knowledge and composition in photography, famous photographers and their photographs, cameras and types, elements and other technical features of cameras will be discussed. The knowledge about camera and photography will be explained to the students practically and a project presentation will be expected from the students at the end of the semester.

Explaining camera, photography and related concepts
Expressing the historical development of photography in the world and in Turkey
Correctly identify and use cameras, cameras and equipment
Categorize the main types of cameras and lenses and use them correctly
Explaining the stages of perception of photography
Distinguishing between correct and incorrectly exposed photographs and applying photo shooting techniques
