OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce concepts and problems in administrative structure of Turkey, public administration.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include administrative structure of Turkey, local administrations and working principles and types in other government organizations.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define bases, elements and organs regarding the governing structure in Turkey
Explain structure, running, duties and authorities of local administrations, decentralisation for service and independent administrative authorities
Analyze changes in the governing structure in consideration of political concepts and theories, political history
Use political opinions and theories in order to interpret changes in the governing structure of Turkey
