OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to give students; To provide theoretical and practical information about the laws regulating working life and related legal regulations.
Contents of the Course Unit: In this course, current issues, theories, concepts, methods and ideas related to labor law and texts related to these fields of study are discussed.

It explains the legal framework of the individual employment contract established between the employee and the employer. (explain)
Becomes aware of current working life conditions. Analyzes regulations regarding working time, rest and holidays. (analyze)
Learns employment contracts and their types. It summarizes the procedures and principles regarding the termination of the employment contract and its consequences. (summary)
Discusses the concept of collective labor agreement and strike and lockout. (Discuss)
Makes evaluations on severance pay, entitlement conditions and calculation. (Evaluate)
