OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to examine the development and production stages of documentary film style from the past to the present and enable the student to realize documentary film production in practice.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the structure, production process and shooting techniques of documentary.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Identify the characteristics and structure of documentary.
Differentiate between the differences of fictional film and documentary film.
Apply the knowledge on documentary production on basic level short documentary.
Identify production stages of documentary.
Analyze a documentary watched within framework of learned stages.
