OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin temel amacı, dijital medyanın toplumsal değişim ve eylem bağlamında nasıl kullanıldığını yeni medya ve aktivizm tarihini, teknolojik olanakları dikkate alarak tartışmaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu derste toplumsal değişim adına kullanılan dijital teknolojilerin toplumsal ve etik sonuçları, alternatif medya ve dijital aktivizm kavramları ve gelişimi, alternatif medya ve dijital aktivizm uygulamalarının değerlendirilmesi konuları ele alınmaktadır.

Politik eylem, geleneksel ve dijital aktivizm, toplumsal hareketlerin bileşenlerini tanımlayabilme
Toplumsal savunuculuk konusunda bilinç geliştirebilme
Disiplinlerarası bir perspektiften sivil toplum ve kamusal alan konularında bilgi sahibi olabilme
Farklı çevrimiçi toplumsal ağların toplumsal savunuculuk adına kullanımına dair yenilikçi fikirler keşfeder; bu fikirlere eleştirel bir pencereden bakabilme
