OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı öğrenciye masal ve halk hikâyesine yönelik kavramları, anlatıcı, anlatım, anlatım ortamları ve ürünlerin işlevlerini öğretmektir. Dersin sonunda öğrencinin bu türleri diğer halk edebiyatı türlerinden ayırt etmesi, diğer türlerle karşılaştırması, Türk edebiyatındaki türleri arası geçiş sürecini kavraması hedeflenmektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Masalların genel özellikleri, kaynakları, tasnifi, diğer edebi türlerle ilişkisi, halk hikâyesinin özellikleri, kaynakları, tasnifi, diğer türlerle ilişkisi, örnek masal ve halk hikâyesi metinlerinin incelenmesini içerir.

Masal ve halk hikâyesini örnek metinler üzerinde diğer halk edebiyatı türlerinden ayırt eder.
Masal ve halk hikâyesi türlerini birbirleriyle ve dünyadaki benzer örnekleriyle karşılaştırır.
Halk bilimi kuramlarından hareketle masal ve halk hikâyesi örnek metinlerindeki tekrar eden kalıpları formüle eder.
