OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı; öğrencinin siyaset kavramının toplumsal boyutunu ve işlevini devlet, güç, meşruiyet, tahakküm, siyasi yapı gibi kavramlarla kompleks ilişkisi çerçevesinde kavramasını sağlamaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriğini; siyaset ve toplumsal işlevi, siyaset sosyolojisinin alanı, siyasi iktidar ve devlet kavramı, güç – tahakküm kavramlarının tanımlanması, Weber’in otorite ve meşruluk tanımlamaları, Türk siyasi geleneğinde devletin görünümü, yönetim tipleri, siyasi elitler ve kamuoyu, seçim ve propaganda ile aktif vatandaşlık konuları oluşturmaktadır.
