OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Öğrencilerin mimarlık ve sanata sadece teknik açıdan değil toplumsal, kültürel, ekonomik ve politik koşulların sonucunda ortaya çıkan üretimler olarak bakmayı benimsemeleri amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit: İnsanlığın ortaya çıktığı tarih öncesi dönemden günümüze kadar sanata dair temel bilgiler aktarılır. Ders, sanata sadece teknik açıdan değil toplumsal, kültürel, ekonomik ve politik koşulların sonucunda ortaya çıkan üretimler olarak ele alır. Bu kapsamda ağırlıklı olarak Batı sanatı olmak üzere, farklı dönemlerdeki görsel kültürü ve bu kültürün oluşum sürecini kapsar.
