OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Develop an advanced understanding of peripheral devices. Develop the skills necessary for embedded systems design. Learning hardware and software of STM32 microcontroller family regisers, ports, interrupt usage, timer and adc modules. Using STM32 Cube IDE.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

LO-1 Recognızes and interprets the details of Armv7-M microprocessor architecture. LO-2 Interprets Assembly programming language LO-3 Using self or team work, be able to program a STM32 family microprocessor using STM32 Cube IDE or analyze a given C code. LO-4 Use timer, counter and interrupt functions of a microprocessor to achieve input/output operations. LO-5 Transfer an analog signal to software platform using microprocessor’s ADC module. LO-6 Design, realize and analyze a STM32 based system that consists of simple input/output units such as LED display, button and switch.
