OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Mimarlıktaki genel kavramlar ve bu kavramların ışığında İslam mimarisinin doğuşundan itibaren yayıldığı toprakların mimarlık tarihinden başlayarak son dönem Osmanlı mimarlık tarihinin sonuna kadar olan dönemde ortaya konan mimarlık üslupları yorumlayabilmektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Ders içeriği, Mimarlık kavramları ve mimarlık tarihi ile ilgili genel bilgiler, İslamın doğduğu ve yayıldığı topraklardaki eski sanat anlayışları ve mimarlık, İslamiyet öncesi Türk sanatı ve mimarlığı, Türk İslam mimarisi, Erken Devir Anadolu Türk-İslam mimarisi, Anadolu Selçuklu Dönemi Mimarisi, XIV. yüzyıl mimarisi, Beylikler Devri, Osmanlı Türk Mimarisine Giriş, Osmanlı mimarisinde mimarlık teşkilatı ve teknik ögeler, Osmanlı mimarisinde yapı türleri, Osmanlı Devletinin yükselme dönemi ve klasik dönem mimarisini hazırlayan etkenler, Klasik dönem Osmanlı mimarisi, Mimar Sinan sanatı, üslubu ve eserleri, Osmanlı mimarisinde batılılaşma dönemi ve Türk Barok üslubu, Türk Neo-Klasiği ve Cumhuriyet Dönemi Mimarlığı anlatmaktır.
