Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu derste, Genel sivil havacılığın tarihi, gelişimi ve havacılıkla ilgili güncel gelişmelerin öğretilmesi hedeflenmektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu ders Sivil havacılığın tarihsel gelişimi: Başlangıç ve Gelişme dönemi,Sivil havacılık faaliyetleri,Havacılık sistemi ve elemanları,Havacılık alfabesi, Uluslararası sivil havacılık örgütleri: ICAO, IATA,ECAC, EASA,Ulusal sivil havacılık kurum ve kuruluşları: SHGM, DHMİ,Havaalanları ve havaalanı bölümlerinin tanıtımı,Havayolu işletmelerinin türleri, bayrak taşıyıcılar,,Düşük maliyetli taşıyıcılar, bölgesel taşıyıcılar,Havayolu işletmelerinin genel özellikleri,Türkiye'de hava taşımacılığı: havayolu işletmeleri,Türkiye'de hava taşımacılığı: Havaalanları,Hava seyrüsefer hizmetleri,Yer hizmetleri konularını içermektedir.
