OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to provide the students with the aviation culture and to have information about the aviationterms they will encounter in their professional life.
Contents of the Course Unit: Aviation alphabet, general terms, terms of cabin services, emergency and technical terms, operational terms,passenger service terms, meteorological terms related topics.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Understands and uses general terms in aviation. Uses emergency situation and technical terms in air transport. Comprehend the terms of air transport, airport terms, aircraft terms and flight terms. Define passenger terms and flight documents, ticket transactions.
