Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu ders öğrencilerin İngiliz Edebiyatı ile ilgili genel bilgi sahibi olup eser, sanatçı ve dönemler hakkında tartışabilmesini amaçlar.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu ders yazın nedir ve ne işe yarar, erken dönem İngiliz yazını, epik şiir ve Beowulf, Chaucer ve Canterbury hikayeleri, İngiliz yazını ve çeviri: İngilizce İncil, tiyatronun kökenleri ve İngiliz tiyatrosunun başlangıcı, Everyman incelemesi, erken dönem Elizabeth dönemi tiyatrosu, William Shakespeare, Hamlet incelemesi, Elizabeth dönemindeki diğer oyun yazarları: Marlowe, Johnson, Webster, Milton ve dönemi ve Yitik Cennet konularını içerir.
