Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu ders öğrencilerin ilgili makaleler üzerine sürdürülen tartışmalar aracılığıyla çeviribilim kuramlarını öğrenmelerini amaçlar.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu ders çeviriye kuramsal açıdan yaklaşım, çeviribilimin ortaya çıkışı, James s. Holmes, 20. yy öncesi çeviri kuramları, çeviride dilbilimsel kuramlara giriş, Eugene A. Nida ve eşdeğerlik türleri, roman Jakobson ve gösterge kavramı, Anton Popoviç ve deyiş kaydırma, işlevsel çeviri kuramlarına giriş, Holz-Manttari ve çeviriye ilişkin eylem kuramı, Hans J. Vermeer ve Skopos kuramı, betimleyici çeviri kuramlarına giriş, Gideon Toury ve çeviri normları, Itamar Even-Zohar ve çoğuldizge kavramı konularını içerir.
