OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about basic nursing practices, competencies, interventional procedures for nursing practices, and providing care to patients and healthy individuals. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The concept of health and disease, human and environment concept, basic human needs, the role of nurses in health promotion, nursing profession, authority and responsibilities, nursing philosophy, theories and concepts, health care system, health team concept, patient acceptance, individual hygiene, infection control and applications, life signs, drug applications, daily life activities, nursing process. |
