OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To learn the fundamental concepts of oncology nursing and using the evidence-based approaches in nursing procedures for cancer patients.
Contents of the Course Unit: Information related to cancer epidemiology, phisiopathology, risk factors, early diagnosis, treatment methods and symptom control.

Examine the cell structure.
Define the tumor classification system.
Describe the cancer risk factors.
