OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes that undergraduate students need to have in scientific research and reporting in order to pass the thesis stage.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course includes the design of a scientific research related to the social work discipline, its reporting and presentation within the framework of scientific principles.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Selects an original research problem in the field.
Makes a literature review in accordance with the problem situation.
Applies the research method suitable for the problem situation.
Evaluates the findings obtained as a result of scientific research.
Presents the scientific research design as a research proposal.
Acts in accordance with scientific ethics in research proposal preparation studies.
Arranges the research proposal in accordance with the formal principles (APA).
