OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Sterilization and surgical asepsis is aimed to gain knowledge and skills.
Contents of the Course Unit: General information about sterilization, asepsis-antisepsis, properties of sterilization unit, disinfection, sterilizers, material washing and preparation units, safety tests and documentation in sterilization, coding and documentation of sets, preparation and sterilization of surgical material, sterilization of plastic material, sterilization of plastic material, and preservation
