Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply basic techniques specific to Ice Skating. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include;meeting, general and special descriptions regarding the course, İntroduction to Ice Skating and history of ice skating, game rules of ice skating and forward and backward slide application studies, forward lemon, backward lemon, backward slide application studies, front and back spiral slide application studies, right and left spiral, snow plow position application studies, transition from forward to backward and backward to forward in pivot technique, forward cross slide application studies, reverse cross slip techniques and application studies, four main positions in ice skating and application studies, ice skating reverse move application studies, ice skating double foot spin rotation application studies and jumps in ice skating; Walls jump application studies. |
