OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply basic techniques specific to Canoe.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; History of Canoe, canoe racing, canoing, technique of canoing, paddling, reverse paddling, canoe stopping and rescue techniques.

Define the basic terms used in maritime.
Describe the basic concepts related with Canoe.
Describe the historical development of the canoe.
Use technical material and equipment for Canoe.
Describe and apply the competition rules related with Canoe.
Apply basic techniques specific to Canoe.
